Lisa Moreira

After receiving a scholarship to study with the Boston Ballet, Lisa continued her dance education at the University of Iowa and New York University. She was an Artistic Associate with 15 Head: a theatre lab in Minneapolis before helping found Sandbox. She has directed the company-created Zelda: Wonderland, aphasiatica:duet, June of Arc, .faust , and co-directed War With the Newts. Lisa has directed and choreographed with Jon Micheels Leiseth on many collaborative theatre projects in the Twin Cities and Connecticut. She is currently focusing on her most challenging directing challenge - a toddler.
