The Horse, The Bird, The Monkey & The Dancer
Opened November 7th, 2008 at the Red Eye Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Inspired by Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe, this ensemble-created piece follows the journey of Prospera as she seeks her lost family. Along the way, she befriends a reluctant horse, a lonely bird, a precocious monkey and a unfulfilled dancer. As she gathers her troupe, Prospera travels through a world of colors and overcomes forces determined to undermine her search. Eventually she finds her family, closer than she ever thought.
